Sorry, Sticki, I meant Crepe Myrtles. The flowers on this Queen's Myrtle have the same texture as the more common Lagerstroemia indica or Crepe Myrtle. Unfortunately the blooms don't have a perfume.

How beautiful! This is my favorite of all the Lagerstroemia species! I wish it was more widely grown here in San Diego!

I agree with you Andy. It's also one of my favourite Lagerstroemias. They are magnificent little trees when they're in full bloom. One of the highlights of our Summers.

They only grow as a small tree here, also. In Hawaii, they grow to become very large trees.
