These are some of the many Philodendron x Selluom planted in front of the Catamaran Resort in Mission Beach, San Diego, CA. Photo taken Feb. 23, 2013.

Mine is really big also. It has survived all kinds of weather for the past 19years.

I don't think the leaves are used from this Philodendron. They leaves are commonly 6ft (2m) or longer.

Yes, it does have some large leaves. The only thing is these plants are across the street from the beach and they get some brown edges from the salinity of the soil and salt-laden winds.

Reminds me- I have to dig up my puny one- other Philo's kick sand on it.
I really need to get it to a pot. Its barely alive.

It grows fast in sun and with lots of water.
