This is another vine I love!!! However, it's much too aggressive for my garden. Believe-it-or-not, it can grow to this size in two years here in San Diego.

I believe it. It seems to be aggresive here as well. Lots of people grow it mixed with bugenvilias

Another issue with Thunbergia species, is that they pop up everywhere. I used to have Thunbergia 'Blushing Susan', I dug it out about two years ago...and still have hundreds popping up all over the yard and in my potted plants.

Thunbergia mysorensis is the exception. I've never seen it naturalize here or any other place.

I have several pics of Thunbergia mysorensis posted on GoY. The San Diego Zoo has many beautiful ones which bloom all year.
