This is my favorite large-leaf Anthurium hybrid. The leaves can grow to 3ft (1m) long and 20in (50cm) wide. I've had this plant for 10 years. It will only grow in mostly shade...so, it stays under the shade tent. Unfortunately, this plant is only rarely available, now. Photo

You’re welcome.
This hybrid was developed by the daughter of the owner of Rancho Soledad Nursery. It’s located in northern San Diego County (Rancho Santa Fe). I purchased this plant in Spring of 2002. It’s a very tough plant. It doesn’t like sun, though.

Perfect for the background in a shady tropical corner.

The shade tent was taken down a long time ago. I have this Anthurium in the shade of my large King Alexander palms (Archontophoenix alexandrae) now. It really likes being under the trees and shrubs.

Ah, thanks for sharing this shot. Yep, I can see it does have large leaves. Great form.
