Chamaedorea costaricana - Costa Rican Bamboo Palm

This is my Costa Rican Bamboo palm in the front yard which is 8 ft (2.5m). It's been there about 5 years. It should be a lot taller if it had more water. This palm is very common in coastal California. Photo taken Feb. 26, 2013

Thanks you so much! It was such a beautiful day! The last couple of days have been warm and soon (tomorrow) the weather will turn hot for 3 days. Us San Diegans are happy again! I think all the cooler than normal weather is gone for this year. :>)

The last three days were warm, tomorrow through Saturday will be hot. Possibly 90ºF (32ºC) weather inland.
