Bee and Crocus

Wonderful photo, how lovely to see the bees out already! Beautiful crocus too.

Thanks Louisa, yes it makes everything seem to come alive when the bees are out in the sunshine. We have a neighbour two doors down who keeps a couple of hives and makes honey and I think this is the reason why we have loads of bees in the garden from early on in the year.

Crocuses are like little jewels. The bees are getting hungry. We used to check the hives in March and feed them on sugar block if they needed it.

They are Linda - due to the rubbish weather think may as well wave them goodbye, wasted a lot of money on bulbs :(
