Do they grow quickly ?

Can they be trimmed without spoiling the look of them ?

Only the lowers fronds can be trimmed away.

Palms can only have their lower fronds trimmed. If the top fronds are cut or the central bud damaged the palm may die because it's the main growing point. Palms are very different from any other tree on the planet.

These palms needed a little trimming. Although, this palm is considered self-cleaning.

We're so lucky, we can grow so many hundreds of species of palms in the landscape here in San Diego, CA.
