Nopal... Prickly pear cactus (Opuntia) on the shelf in Wal mart

I wonder what they taste like ? Have you ever tasted them ?

I had it ones mixed with eggs for breakfast. It is popular combination. I was not impressed. Some people love it. It is not sold on Vancouver Island. Apparently good for people with diabetes.

:o( It doesn't sound very nice .... You never find it for sale here.

I was in a Mexican Market Klahanie to see if they had good Christmas tamales ( they were lousy) and looking around I saw a very small Agave leaf. They were selling them for $4. You could by a whole plant for that at...Walmart.
