The sun came out for a while this morning but around midday it decided it had had enough of the cold Easterly wind & went back to bed!

Nevertheless before that happened I was able to get a few photos of my Crocuses open in the pots & troughs I have on the balcony. They are such cheerful little flowers at this time of the year! I could never do without them on my spring balcony! :-))

Hope they're okay on the balconey, Balconey.
Yeah, I know, buddy, a pound for every time...Lol.

Yesterday (23rd March) they got covered in snow & are almost buried today. As it had frozen over them there was nothing I could do about it.

In a couple of days, once they are free of the snow & ice I expect they will look as if nothing had happened.

I've noticed they seem to shrug off snow & ice, looking at them in city parks.
They seem to be indestructable, as well as appealling to the eye!
They're going on my shopping list for next year for sure.

You are quite right, Mouldy, they do & my plants that were covered in ice & snow have recovered today & look as if nothing had happened to them! :-))

I wouldn't be without out them on my balcony!

It gets in the blood :-)
