This Wiliwili tree was in full bloom in Balboa Park, San Diego, CA. This Erythrina is native to the Hawaiian Islands. Photo taken March 11, 2013.

I know. I got several seeds, there were thousands of seeds on ground. I'll try growing some.

I think it's the only yellow flowering Erythrina species. It is pretty amazing!

The flowers are not that large. They're about 6 - 8 in wide.
