That's the reason it's so popular, Sticki and Motinot. The crimson colour underneath those green and white leaves makes a fabulous show.

I love this plant! It looks very similar to the Ctenanthe oppenheimiana 'tricolor' I have growing in my front yard.

Yes I saw your photo Andy and thought they were the same plant. I think Stromanthe might be a synonym, but I'm not entirely sure.

It could be true; however, I've seen this plant in the nurseries. It looks a little different with thicker and slightly more colorful leaves.
