Thanks for the I.D. Andy. This was a pass-along plant and the tag that came on the plant had its writing rubbed off by the time it got to me.
It's great to know it multiplies quickly because I'd like to plant the pup out along the driveway garden bed.

You're welcome. My dad once had a half barrel full of this plant. It's a very tough plant!

Soon you'll have thousands! LOL! This is a very common bromeliad here. It's called Neoregelia carolinae var. tricolor. It multiplies very quickly.
