I don't grow spuds now,Mouldy,but always found this variety to be a good one..never had any problems as regards blight etc.. more suitable for boiling,or steaming though,as more a salad type new potato..I don't think they would be suitable for chipping..but hey,you could try it..:o)

Don't mind how I cook 'em, Bloomer, as long as I get a crop, but thanks for the info, as I'm in dark!
Am going to sow carrots, spring onions & chives alongside to try to confuse the flies.

Good for you,Mouldy..nothing like the taste of your first home grown stuff..I only have a small garden,so had no room to keep rotating them each year..ran out of space,and I tried growing them in pots,but didn't get much of a yield..I buy them so cheap from Aldi now..same variety :o)..not the excitement of digging for the little treasures though Lol...and yes,I wish you good luck..:o)

After last years dismal disaster am not going to bothere to chit or with any new potatoes. Gonna find the biggest jacket spuds i can find and plant them as late as possible and then wait even longer to dig them up for jacket spuds

Jackets? They'd need b****y parkas up here, Stevie. Lol.
