Double Snowdrop

Is this in Corfu Alexandramou?

It's in my garden Shirl. This was a gift from Bjs a few years ago.

Wonderful, I didn't think they would grow in Corfu!

We have native wild Snowdrops....I've posted a pic in the past. We even have wild Cyclamen. They grow under trees and in shade.

I obviously didn't keep my eyes open when we were there, or maybe it was just the wrong season.....!

ah! That's it then!! Earliest we have been in Corfu is end of April. It was a bit cold that year too, for the first few days!! We had 3 weeks that time, so it was o.k. after.

Wow,,,,,,end of April. We don't open our shops here until the beginning of May.

This was a long time ago, probably about 1984 and they did open a bit earlier then in some places.
When we went back to Kavos in 2009!!!! for a visit to see Greek friends (it was a very quiet little village when we first went!) they said they don't start till June now!!!
Kavos is a den of iniquity now - full of stupid morons supposedly enjoying themselves!! Totally ruined what it used to be like, such a shame. I wouldn't go there for a holiday these days, even as a gift!!!

Yes...some places don't open until June...shame.

Kavos....I won't go visit Kavos in the summer either.
