The house belonged to my landlady's grandparents, making it close to 100 yrs old, so it is definitely old style - shotgun with bedrooms off to the side, high ceilings & wide baseboards, etc. I just love it - the older ones were built to last.
The well was made by a friend trying his carpentry skills out - I think he did a fine job. It is almost 20 yrs old & still in one piece!

It looks lovely Grammazoo. I like older houses too. Our hungarian house is about 65 years old, and we used to live in one in UK which is now 100 years old.

Looking good. Is that a wishing well I see ? My parents had one in their yard for years. Every year it had a different color theme planted around it. You brought back some very pleasant memories posting this photo. Even your house is similar to my parents.
