You,ve more than me at 7.00am Paul, but its snowing more heavily now and the east wind is bitter

It is very picturesque I must admit, but now it's just to much mate, hope not to much is damaged.

Snap,Paul..we have the same..I don't think it will last long..hopefully anyway..as long as it doesn't turn icy,that's the part we don't want..looks like another day indoors....:o(

I can't believe what I am seeing Paul...we have light snow going on here...but not settling...wonder how long that will be :((((

Paul I know how you feel nothing but rain and cold wind all week here.Had a couple of good days last week, so made a small raised veg bed 6ft x 3ft transplanted some garlic plants to it, put some union sets a couple rows of chives.The garlic is bashed down with the rain , onions sets are sogged down, chive seed I just don't know what will happen to them, So Paul I know how you feel. I will upload a photo to let you see what is like.

Wow, I feel for you.....I can't imagine snow now.....it's spring!
Sunny but very windy here.

It is very pretty though....and you'll soon forget all this in a couple of weeks when the springs starts properly and your garden is filled with colour again, not long now, we're nearly there!!:)

You must be fed up with it by now :o( We have heavy rain and gales :o( Can't go out today, but I preffer it to snow.

Oh dear :( we got snow and or frost tomorrow.
Just covered the veg patch with tarp, it's so very wet.
I remember one Easter Day back in the 80's when we woke up to snow!

I was just thinking this morning Paul...you mentioned in a weather comment that the rest of March looked rubbish...this was a couple of weeks ago now....and I was just thinking how right you are! Your weather forecasts are pretty accurate! Hope it doesn't lie for long!

Thanks everyone - hoping for it to go - :)) Thanks very much Karen , I look at the world pressure patterns and actually sit there working out the directions , speeds and all . I am hoping for the cold to end by next weekend - it keeps slowing down somewhat and heavy snow will precede end of week, followed by a wet windy start to April

Where is all the global warming happening? It is not where we live and obviously not in the place where you all live.
Paul what is your meteorological skills tell you?

I only really forecast it and know clouds and systems - I believe the world simply changes roots with jet stream further south again - which was my thinking for a cold rubbish spring - plus every now and then we get a block high pressure - 1963 it was blocked just the same and lasted from approx boxing day to early march - hoping that early April after a snowy spell end of March will see more rain and winds and higher temps :-))

And then in June onwards in 1963 there was a heat wave!

so what kind of summer will we have Paul, sunny and warm maybe??

Well ,I for another, am heartily fed up of it today..it has never stopped since the early hours,and it is now 6,45pm ..and still more forecast till Sunday! I keep looking for

Hi Sandra and Angie - not great - milder by 30th by look of pressure charts more Atlantic weather - "hopefully" but been so long it is hard to believe

Relieved to find no snow when we arrived home, but the coldest feel we've had this year. :(

I know Karen so horrible , next weekend is another to watch , been on about this milder system really trying to get in , however this damn high is just staying firm, hoping by 30th it will win out - but feel another heavy snowfall first
