That's amazing...it looks just like a vanilla pod. I first saw one in Edinburgh botanic gardens and until then I didn't know that vanilla is an orchid. I suppose it is the only one with a culinary use...but yours looks amazing, and hopefully you'll get viable seed. :)

Thans Karen, I did have a vanilla when I had my collection i my younger days, they should be viable I did quite a good cross with my others, the only down side is it can take a minimum of 5-6 years before flowering.
