I have not seen them bloom. But the leaves are indicating that you might be right.

I'm looking at the size of the seed pods, the trunk and the leaves. This is where I getting my educated guess from. :>)

WOW!!! That's a lot of seeds pods! I believe it's Cassia fistula (not positive, though). Did it have beautiful long, drooping yellow flowers?
If it is Cassia fistula, it has a very impressive amount of seed pods.
