worse winter we have seen sandra, at least a foot and half on the car, where the neighbours have cleared our road there must be at least 4ft piled up, at least we can get out now, Sticki I am fine thanks, better now the snow has stopped.

You call this snow? ha! Yesterday our lovely nextdoor neighbour cleared a lot of our drive and in our cul-de-sac a small army of people cleared the road. I keep looking at my front garden where some of the drive snow was thrown and worrying about my plants under 2 feet of snow and even more about them being drowned when it (if) it thaws:-( I don't want them to see me move some of it in case they think me ungrateful lol:-))

Forgot to say it does look lovely Yorky ...what's that? ....not what you want to hear? Have you heard anything about it shifting? I haven't, it feels as though it's here to stay, no wonder we get fed up ....lets all move somewhere warm:-)))

and its still snowing,

We had some falling today, most of the morning, but it didn't lie.

roads closed here M, 7feet drifts, we have about 2ft still in the garden and its still snowing, about 3ft on the paths outside, its unbelievable to be here in the midst of it, keep warm,

Oh dear, Yorkshire, that all sounds very difficult. I hope things will get easier soon - make sure YOU keep warm :-)

with all the technology we now have and the ability to get into space you would think they could find a way to move that area of high pressure and move it to allow warm winds from the south instead?

keep going yorks, thinking of you, its not very warm here either and we still have snow and ice covering the back garden

Val it looks pretty,(BUT) some where else it would look better,B/A said lets all go somewhere warmer,well you are welcome here I have the heating on all day and plenty of drinks in the cabinet

how nice to go somewhere warmer Sticki, its freezing here, M its more than difficult believe me, its a nightmare, John thanks for your kind offer, heating on here all day too and well stocked up, been out to the bin this morning and I just could not believe the length of the icicles on the side of the house.

it looks beautfiu, pristine, pure snow - but then of course I'm sitting here looking at a picture on my pc, not out of a window at it right outside my door!

and its still the same today Fran, no sign of a thaw.

Still loads of snow here Yorky and still frozen. Yesterday we had quite a lot of bright sunshine which thawed a bit of snow, mainly from roofs and tree tops, soon froze again. I suggest we take up John's kind invitation if only we can get there:-))

sun been shining here today, looks like spring except its white over and bitterly cold, we are having a very very slow thaw but still about two foot of it, don't fancy trying to make our way to John, to cold,
