Poppy painting.

Because I haven't been able to get things done in the greenhouse and garden I have been practicing my flower painting. My Mother bought me a book on drawing flowers and after much rubbing out and redrawing (I used up all the rubber on one of the pencils...lol) I managed something similar to the drawing in the book. After all that, the easy part was painting it.....

That is lovely homebird ,I envy anyone who can draw /paint ,I have trouble drawing a straight line .. Mecanopsis Blue Poppies are a fvourite of mine I have several plants growing from seed in the greenhouse .. Good luck with your new project :o))
