This orchid is such a gorgeous sight, when in bloom. This very large orchid is growing outside under trees at the San Diego Zoo. Photo taken April 1, 2013.

Thanks! Yes, it's so gorgeous! It's located right in front of the orchid house, which is the building in the background.

This is how my neighbor Randallsd's one blooms (he has his in his backyard in semi-shade in a big pot). He promised me a cutting two years ago. I'll have to go and collect from him! LOL! :>)
