I like the blue shade and the leaf is lovely too. Does this disappear after flowering until the following Spring?

Yes.This was from Long Acre last year.It is deciduous Sheila,but I cant remember how long they last.Once I'd saved the seed I bunged it out the way.

I like plants which disappear for a while because it allows me to plant something else nearby without disturbing either.
