You're right Summerbee she was!! She makes little chirring noises when she sees them through the window!!! She is a 'rescue cat' 14 years old, called Willow. We have had her about 2 months now and so far she hasn't brought any little gifts into the house!! I don't know whether she has caught anything!
She certainly watches the birds a lot and I know there are some mice somewhere on the patio which she seems to sniff around at!!
