My Thai Dwarf papaya fruit is ripening now. Photo taken Mar. 10, 2013.

Yes, it will be. I allow my papayas to ripen as much as possible on the plant. They taste the sweetest when ripened on the plant (if the birds don't get to them first). :>)

This one looks like almost ready to eat, no? Is it a plumeria next to it? Does not bloom yet?

It's not quite ready, yet. I will most likely pick the papaya in a couple of weeks.
The Plumeria tree is my largest in the ground (10ft tall). It goes deciduous late, not until early February...so it leafs out late. It's just starting leaf out now...it typically blooms late too. Although, it has many flower spikes coming out right now.

Looking healthy, lots of leaves. When did it flowered?

It flowers July - Dec. For some reason it always flowers late.

It wasvvery large. It was more than 18 in. (46cm) long.
