I squished over 100 last summer, about 20 off these fritillaries. I hate the little perishers.

Pity we can't train other insects to gang up on them. Lol.
Think I'll take any I find on a long trip.
Anyone know how to attract spiders?

I just stomp on them with my size 8's that seems to work well. lol they never recover from that. lol :O) it is the catching of them which is the problem, they see me coming from a mile off. lol and they are very clever because they drop down to the ground and stay on their backs so as to camaflouge themselves. I only missed two though last year, now I have got new specs I shall not miss any. HOPEFULLY!

Scottish did a blog on the common soldier beetle last year, which looks similar, but is very helpful to the gardener.
Now I know which one is the enemy. Lol.
