yes, I thought so. This is the one I saw in the street in St Lucia last year and couldn't identify. I thought it looked familiar!

This vine covers miles of cyclone fence along the freeways here. They're all in bloom here, also.

What do you mean tempted? You're going to try and grow it in your yard?

That would be pushing it! But there must be a way - greenhouse and spare room regime maybe.

Even though this vine is very hardy to 20ºF (-7ºC) or lower, it is native to subtropical Brazil. I think it may like it on the dry side during winter. You may possibly be able to grow it outside in the ground.

I like when this vine flowers; however, it only flowers once during spring. It does have a very good bloom here with flowers so dense you can barely see the leaves on the vine.

I've just got Pandorea jasminoides through the winter kept frost free and dry, so I am wondering................

Maybe I will track some seeds down on Fleabay and give it a shot.

That's a pretty tender vine for your neck of the woods.

It was in the shed. No heat, little light, but dry. Stayed green and new growth on it now that it is back in the greenhouse.

That's great! I always thought P. jasminoides was hardy to 28ºF (-2.2ºC).

I doubt that it got that low in there................

That's why it survived.
