Beautiful close-up as always.

This will always look good Delonix!

I've been so tempted to grow this on the roof of my shade structure; however, I'm afraid of how quickly Thunbergias grow here.

"however, I'm afraid of how quickly Thunbergias grow here."

Almost a nuisance if I recall correctly!

Yes, most species reseed profusely and grow very, very quickly! I still have so many Thunbergia 'Blushing Susan' seedlings popping up all over my yard and in pots. T. mysorensis supposedly isn't so aggressive, though.

I'm not a huge fan of 'Blushing Susan' , but this one I do love.

Well, if you lived here, you would have endless varieties and species to choose from. The colors are mostly blue, yellow, orange and blush.

You would love T. grandiflora (Bengal clock vine). I really like T. gregorii (orange clock vine). I've posted photos of these in the past.

My other half grew T.gregorii a couple of summers ago - it's a really good one!

Yes, T. gregorii has those very bright orange flowers (which bloom all year). I like it better than the extremely common T. alata (black-eyed Susan). Does it grow as an annual there? I know none of the Thunbergia species are hardy to cold.

More of a greenhouse perennial Delonix.

It must be difficult to keep it under control. I know most species can grow very quickly even in pots.

It grew like crazy!

That's what I thought.
