an exceptional shade they are always much lighter colour here in the West,I would say it was strong sunlight but we don't hardly see any.lol

Strange...mine is definitely paler and pinker than this Kath. When you said a 'blue' primula,I didn't think you could mean QB...interesting to see if yours is also pinker next year!
