dont know could be or it might be semi double who knows. I might do a bit of paint brush pollination as i dont think the bees will manage it.

As for the bees, they've had a bad decade, poor wee souls.

the flowers have more petals than usual but not enough to have a complete duplicate of every petal.

Ah, gotcha.
I was assuming a double meant two flower heads, but if I've got this right it means, at least in this case, the flower would have 12 petals.
Have I got that right? :-\

yep spot on, the term multi headed is used for more than one flower per stem. double etc means the duplication of flower parts.
