I forgot to mention, we have got a big project going on. Project: Pergola is our project to build a shelter with a green roof for the volunteers to use as a shelter from the rain and a place to drink tea together, as well an outdoor classroom for youth groups and local schools. Tower Hamlets Homes gave a £500 donated: it’s a start.

What a great idea Maria, what plants shall you use on the roof? I have a gutter nicely planted with stonecrop sedum, though it wasn't intentional....:o))
