I've got a much better display of fritillaria this year (I think I blamed the Squirrels for digging up the bulbs last year! :D) - I really love the checkerboard patterns too :o)))

You have them in a tub and they look lovely, I,d not thought of that
I may get some in the autumn and give it a try, do they need special soil?

Thank you Pam I had a large number of bulbs from T&M, they are just in ordinary potting compost here :o)
