Believe or not Sticki, I took a cutting 3 years ago from the tree in the picture on the right behind the red robin ~ I have just put it in a round Bonsai pot ~ I'll post it now

I'm no good at taking cuttings of trees......you must have a lot of patience!!

Well, this was accidentally broken off the tree so I put it in a pot and to my surprise it took :-)

That is interesting view, how many maples do you have?

They are beautiful trees and it is easy to get hooked. In the past few years I bought 5 of them as well.

I Know, thats the problem if you get hooked it can get out of hand, at one time I had 40 something!!
Its not nice when you lose one or two every winter, I tend to look after the ones I have now and hope they stay healthy, especially the Bonsai

if getting out of hand is how you get a garden looking like yours i wouldnt have any complaints!
