It is now Sandra.I'll pop out and take a pic...Much later this year...mind you, not as many flowers this year.Maybe that's due to,the weather or maybe it's just feeling it's age!!!!

I went out & bought 5 of these plants after seeing yours, couldn't find anything near as nice as your pink ones though.

Goodness, 5 plants Floralhead?? I hope you have a large area to cover. This is just one plant! Clematis Montana Rubens should all be this colour!

I want it to cover all of the fence in the backyard, I put one on each end, 2 in the middle & one on the other side of the yard against my backhouse. They are spread along the fence about 8-10 feet apart.
I meant that I bought clematis plants, couldn't find this particular one but was looking for pink. It has no flowers on it but the tag has a picture of a pale pink flower. They are called 'Mrs. Cholmondeley'. The other pink I bought looks almost fuschia colored (no flowers yet)
Oh my though lol, if that's only one plant !

Mrs cholmondley is a lovely Clematis.Bigger flowers but not as strong growing as this one. They'll make a lovely show! This one is sometimes referred to here as the 'mile a minute' Clematis which will give you some idea of how quickly it grows.
Good luck with yours!

thanks! they are further apart than I thought...more like at least 15 feet apart, wonder if they'll ever cover like yours :)

Well this is a more rampant grower, but, given time and trimming back at the right time, they will spread(depending which kind they are ie early/late flowerer!
Mrs Cholmondley won't spread very far but will grow quite tall....prune back to lower down buds in early spring which will keep it bushy and with growth low down as well as up high!!
But, the flowers on mRs Cholmondley are much bigger and more showy than this Montana!

Good to know, thank you :)
oh, that's a pretty good 'show' you have going on!
