I love these. My guess is these are annuals - I wonder if they'd grow that pretty here in Dayton, Ohio?

Yes they are annuals. They like plenty of sun. The flowers close up if the sun is not shining. We have hot summers here and our soil is sandy. Not that different to Ohio???? Equivalent to zone 6.

Love these too....BUt very little sun where I live, so they are usually closed up...Plus it is never hot there, so they don't thrive.
