This is my favourite type of Photinia, it's called Davidiana Pallete (stransvaesia) and it's flowering well this year after a chop. I can't understand the popularity of 'red robin' or 'pink marble' for that matter .....why isn't everyone growing this?:-)) The tulip is not growing on the shrub lol:-)

I agree! P. 'red robin' seems to me a bit of a shrug, but I love my P. Davidiana even though it's still quite small after many years :)
