What a fabulous view, and so green..

You will notice that those grey slabs in the field are really ledge which peels or is solid. The house was built on this.
In order to make a cellar, the ledge had to be blasted out.
The gardens are in between the ledges and filled with earth and then topsoil and then all the amendments...A process!
And that is the reason for the beautiful views. We are very high up.
