First flower on 'Guernsey Cream'

The first flowers are always pale green, before they change to cream.

Interesting, I've been looking at getting this one, but didn't realise how green the flowers were to start with!

They're lovely, though, and when the cream flowers appear, it's a smashing Clem. :-)

And it can tolerate a bit of shade too I think? Is that where this one is?

Nice...never seen this one in a garden, only in the catalogue. it reminds me of Florida 'Pistachio' which also starts green and has purple anthers...lovely. On the subject of clems..bad news...no sign of my Vienetta this year. if it doesn't appear, I shall probably replace it, as I really loved that clem!

Oh dear - it's so sad losing plants. I think my 'Betty Corning' has gone...I can't see any shoots.
