PA - how did you care for yours? I'm a little unsure at the moment, although I'll pot up some of the suckers as back-up.
Used/been there a few times. T'other half and I got;
This,
Salvia discolor (mine caught a frost last autumn)
Nicotiana glauca
Passiflora exoniensis
Macaya bella
Thunbergia gregorii
All well established plants for a total of £60 inc p&p.
Sorry Andrew, I really am green as far as this goes.

Last winter I kept in a frost free greenhouse and it flowered well, this year due to lack to space it was in a cold greenhouse, it survived but i've had to cut it hard back so no flowers. The rest of the year it is outside in a sunny sheltered spot, feed is high potash slow release. Warm greenhouse next winter me thinks.
I also lost my salvia discolor this year, not sure why i've had it for 6 years I couldn't stop it dying back :o(
Been to hillview once when on holls, wish I lived a bit closer!

Thanks for the tip PA!
If I could strike a cutting og S.discolor you could have it! For whatever reason they fail every time.
I'm lucky here - Hill House is only 160 miles away!!!!

349 miles from here M, I have rooted S.discolour but only 2 out of many, not sure why they rooted and others didn't so sorry can't pass on any hot tips.
