It's a beautiful flowering tree. The only problems is once you have one, then you have hundreds! lol! :>)

The seedlings are easily pulled out when young.

Meanie,

What to you mean they all blasted before they opened?

Blasted in UK parlance means withered and dropped off.

That's a surprise. I hear you guys had a great summer this year.

Alexandramou:

I read and saw on the tv news that the UK had a pretty warm to hot summer, also.

I think Meanie needs to move to a tropical or subtropical climate. He loves hot weather! Also, he can grow all his tropical plants outdoors. :>)

I agree with you Delonix. ;o)

"That's a surprise. I hear you guys had a great summer this year."

Relatively speaking we did, but only 'cos it was better than we've been used to the last few years.
Biggest problem was that winter dragged on, spring was mostly cool and then in the blink of an eye we had a heatwave for about three weeks.

"I think Meanie needs to move to a tropical or subtropical climate. He loves hot weather! Also, he can grow all his tropical plants outdoors."

I agree too!!!

Meanie:

I hope you have a very mild winter! The Almanac for the U.S. isn't very good for mild winter weather. According to the Almanac this winter is suppose to very cold for most of the U.S. I'm not sure how I would be affected...as last winter was one of the coldest winters in many years in San Diego, and it's very rare to get more than one cold (cooler than normal) winter in a decade.
