Beautiful garden as usual...I was thinking the same about the weather...

It got really warm today and I had a great time out there clearing up and tidying things - got front garden grass cut and border tidied up too.

Looking really lovely and I like your little stepping stones in the lawn.

thank you Wildrose, glad you like them, they need trimming badly now, will have to get my little knife out again. :O)

This 'gardening lark' is never ending isn't it?

2 Jun, 2013

It is never ending, but eh ho Wildrose it helps keep us all fit. Well I keep telling myself that but think the knees are disagreeing with me. lol :O)

I can't for the life of me work out what is in the bottom left corner of the shot...is it water spouting?

7 Jun, 2013

Nope, it is that old tree stump which I used as a planter, can you remember, it is still standing. lol :O)

9 Jun, 2013

I've blown it up now, and I can make out the stump...but what is the stuff around the sempers, that is a grey colour please..

It is dry soil and then the bark of the stump, think with the sun shining on the picture it makes it look strange. The sempervariums look like they are going to flower - where they were before I cannot remember them having a flower on them, they are getting quite long and look like they have flower buds, didn't know they flowered. lol.

Oh yes, they are weird when they flower...but beautiful in a sort of alien way!

9 Jun, 2013

yes very alien looking, just been for a wander around the borders with Paul, what a laugh three attempts at naming a foxglove, it was a hollyhock then a lupin and then I had to tell him. laugh, what is he like, definitely no competition for AT there then. lol But what I found was that the sempervarium that this one came from is also flowering in the rock garden area at front of the raised border. Really weird, must be all the rain we had and now the sunshine is making them do the right thing at last.

I only found out they flowered when I saw one on here...and then mine flowered!

really strange, hope it doesn't get damaged before it is out fully :O)
