Paths laid and initial planting

Your dream is for the whole garden to look like your origional first bed, love to see some photos of it in bloom. I have been mowing my lawns this afternoon and notice the blackbirds have been having a lovely time scratching the rose bed out onto the lawn. I had tipped grass cutting on the bed to keep the moisture in, They obviously discovered worms under it! Oh! the trials that face a tidy gardener!!
