That cat is looking at that fish with the disdain that our big ginger tom looked at a mouse which practically ran over his toes. I asked him what he was playing at because it was supposed to be his job to see off mice. I found one on the doorstep next morning. I bet it was not his pal though. That corner is looking great now. Makes all your hard work worth it. You have two very nice ferns there.
