Kalmia latifolia 'Tinkerbelle'

The deep pink buds are almost as attractive as the flowers. This has been a very easy going mountain laurel and doesn't demand the attention that a couple of my other varieties need. It looks really nice surrounded by sandstone and in front of my oregon grape holly.

Just lovely - I have planted one of the compact varieties last year, but it is yet to flower...fingers crossed that I might see some buds!
