Gorgeous photo, are those raindrops? You've had rain? Wish we could have some the garden is very dry:(

Very nice Karen, I've bought a couple recently, they stay in flower for quite some time I believe. In fact, I grew some from seed this spring but not big enough yet to plant out

Thanks both of you. We did have a short spell of rain at about 6pm...it was sunny at the same time...another April shower! But I've been watering the garden all afternoon...it's been quite dry lately...YAY!! They do stay in flower a long time Dawn. I'd forgotten how lovely they are...until I saw Annellas last year and remembered them. I used to have some in my first garden you see, but I didn't have any here until last year. Now I've got four!

Well I noticed them in my neighbour's garden last year and couldnt believe how long they flowered and turning green with envy, decided I had to have some. I bought them from one of the supermarkets but kept them in the greenhouse over winter as I believe they can be a bit tender. Funny how you forget what you've had in the past until you see someone else's.

Well, I've never had any problems with tenderness issues....lol...I'm far too harsh!!..lol..no, I mean they seem to be hardy here...but then our coastal climate...

Lol Karen, I forget you're near the coast, lucky you. I think I live as far away from the coast as you can get - smack bang in the middle of the country.

Yes, you get some cold spells Dawn. It's been a lovely day here today, but there is now a cold wind...really chilly...brrrrr!

The weather forecasters were implying it was going to be hot this week - its been sunny but like you say, a cool wind blowing from the north east. We didnt get any late frosts though, for a change :-)

That's true, and consequently the fruit blossom has all done well! We should get a bumper apple harvest at the castle later on!

Yes, my plums and damsons have set, a real bonus this year.

Lol...after a glass of Pimms I cannot answer that at all without incriminating myself again!
