I am a bit like Michaella, yearning for more colour but will have to make do with the various greens and bronzes for the time being, hopefully some more colours soon.

thank you Melchi, yes all very green lots of different shades of greens and bronzes all adding to the colour palette soon have some reds and yellows in there, hopefully. We could do with a drop of rain now as the borders are drying out again, never happy, I know. :O)

Yes - I know that too. Iwas just musing to myself that the water butt could do with topping up at the same time as frowning at some clouds drifting across the sun!

I have been out watering nearly every day for ages, and both my butts are empty!
Gorgeous afternoon here..been on the beach with Molly! The weather is already much much better than last year!

still cold here, not much sunshine at all today, grey skies and looks like rain but clouds might just be a bit too high to drop water on us.

Pleased you have put a closer picture of this border I can now identify some of the plants, all looking very mature and robust. are the tall bronze plants on the left Lymachia?

11 Jun, 2013

Lysimachia Firecracker I think that is what it is called Pansy, bronze leaves with a very small yellow flower later on. Popped a little of it in this end last year it is quite a thug and further down I keep having to pull it out so that it does not swamp everything else. I had a look last week and will have a lot of tugging out to do before next year, it has grown that much.
