Brilliant photo and lucky that you spotted it Ph ... We've had 3 birds kill them selves this week crashing into the summerhouse glass door or windows even though we have several stickers on them to ward them off , my guess is that these are young ones that haven't yet learnt about reflections , it's such a shame :o(

Thanks all, I spotted it when having lunch In the garden, the great tit was flying back and forth and I thought it was unusual for it to be landing on the ground so I went to investigate. Sorry to here about your young ones Amy lets hope they get the hang of it v. soon.
