I know a lot of you like Hostas so here we go! I have no idea which ones they are, they were all bought as Hostas. lol. but they all turned out to be different, they have been in here for a number of years and I will not split them as they are such big plants and I am scared of losing them. The snails and slugs do get them you cannot see the holes from these shots - but I know they are there. lol.

These were some of the first plants I bought for my garden so quite a favourite of mine. I have got hooked on other plants such as Heuchera and Hardy Geranium over the years I have been gardening, but these are still my favourites, they are so strong and stand up to all the hard weather we get in the winter, they never let me down.

I've just returned from Linda's, and she has one very similar to your pale one...and it's in a pot with some alchemilla! Almost the same effect as you have here! Lovely!

It is very effective together, love it just wish it didn't take over so much, the alchemilla that is, it is late flowering this year too, it has always flowered much earlier than this in previous years.

so many things are very late still. My alchemillas are just starting to flower. I only have it in the green and white garden. At least the seedlings are easy enough to pull up of you spot them in time!

Everything is so much later this year, still it should stay around for longer and keep us with colour for longer. Summer starts proper this week. lol :O)

Those lovely plants create such a calm and tranquil scene. The colours are so pale and soft.
