It is now I have been able to weed it out, this area is always the last to be attacked and the couch grass and buttercups take over if I am not careful, it does last for a while once it has been cleared out though. Found a newt and frogs in the undergrowth, another reason for not doing too much with it, they love it up there. We have tadpoles in the pond and they are getting bigger and bigger but no sign of them growing legs yet lol. I must google and see how long it takes them to start to grow their legs and lose their tales. lol. Never seen tadpoles before in there, know I must have had them because we have lots of frogs but not seen them swimming around before. The newt was a baby one too so we must be doing something right for the natural world.

Think you will have to do what I did, as frogs return to ponds where they were born, I had to beg some frogspawn, many years ago from Dr. Bird. bet you cannot remember that though. lol
