Well I'm pretty sure its an alpine type sysrinchium Olive, but don't know the variety. It looks happy there in that gravel bed :-)

Lol Karen - sorry about the spelling. I just bought one of these little ones and its now in my little alpine planter. Im new to alpines but they are growing on me very rapidly.

I hate these long names too, I can never remember them.lol :O) don't need to have had a drink or two before trying to pronounce them either. lol :O)
