beautiful too. is it winter hard?

I think that if it gets through it's first winter, it's pretty much bullet-proof, Bik. I only planted it last year and it has really gone for it!

I've got two yellow ones as well, but they don't seem to be as vigorous.

They're not in bloom at the moment - but, I will when they do.

This is a spreader Karen. Glorius when it grows tall like yours so that you can see the inner side of the flowers.

I think I may have to move it next year, SG. It's under my young cherry tree...and already vying with the cherries for air-space! Would it be happy in full, full sun?

It is a South African plant so should be fine in full sun. I have a yellow variety P. 'Candy Drop', it has come through the winter in the shelter of a laburnum tree. It is only 3ft x 3ft (1m x 1m) would probably be a good replacement under the cherry tree.
